PRO TIER: ACADEMY
Alicia was born in Tenerife, Spain, and raised in Onda, Spain. She began playing tennis at age three with her grandfather, and her love for the sport continues to be inspired by him and by her family, who have always been an important part of her journey.
Alicia started her college career at Hillsborough Community College, where she won NJCAA Division I National and State Championships in singles and doubles, earned All-American honors, and was named Vicki Schnurr Student-Athlete of the Year. She later competed for St. John’s University as an NCAA Division I athlete, earning ITA Scholar-Athlete and BIG EAST All-Academic honors. After completing an undergraduate degree in Marketing, she received a STEM MBA in Business Analytics.
Alicia has coaching experience at the Rafa Nadal Academy and the Tennis Trainer Academy in Spain, as well as private lessons with players of different ages and skill levels. As a coach, she combines high intensity with fun, enjoyable practices. She focuses on helping players build strong fundamentals, develop confidence, and feel their best on and off the court.
She looks forward to sharing her experiences with the TIA community.
