LIZA VELYKORODNA 

Liza is a high-performance tennis coach and former elite collegiate player from Ukraine. A multiple-time Ukrainian national champion at the U18 level, she began playing tennis at the age of five and quickly established herself as one of the country’s top junior competitors.

At 17, Liza moved to the United States to pursue collegiate tennis, competing for Georgia Gwinnett College in the NAIA—one of the nation’s premier programs. During her collegiate career, she achieved a career-high national ranking of No. 3 in singles and No. 1 in doubles, and played a key role in securing two national team championships as well as a national doubles title.

Following her time at Georgia Gwinnett, Liza spent two years coaching at Roosevelt Island Racquet Club, where she worked with both junior and adult players on technical development, match play, and overall performance. She later returned to collegiate competition at Keiser University, contributing to the team’s national indoor championship.

As a coach, Liza brings a well-rounded perspective shaped by elite junior competition in Europe and high-level collegiate tennis in the United States. She emphasizes strong fundamentals, a competitive mindset, and confident decision-making, helping players of all ages and levels develop their skills in a positive, professional environment.
