At seventeen, Laurentsi placed sixth in the Belarus National Tournament (Davis Cup selection event), earning a spot on the Davis Cup Team as an alternate player.

In 2011, he received a full NAIA Division scholarship to Bethany College in Kansas, where he twice won the regional tournament as a freshman and sophomore and reached the semifinals of the national championship both years.

After earning his Bachelor of Science, Laurentsi coached privately for three years before joining the Sportime Harbor Island team in Mamaroneck. After advancing through the coaching ranks there, he moved on to New Rochelle Racquet Club, where he continued to develop players of all levels.

Before joining TIA, Laurentsi spent two years coaching competitive junior players, helping them elevate their games for varsity and collegiate-level play.
