MO HATME
MASTER TENNIS PROFESSIONAL

Mohammed (Mo) was born in Baghdad, Iraq.  At the age of 6, his older brother took him to the local tennis courts and introduced Mo to the sport of tennis. The experience was one that ignited Mo to become a tennis fanatic.  By age 11, Mo began taking the sport seriously and it was clear to him that he wanted to become a professional tennis player.

Mo trained at the prestigious Alsaid Tennis Club in Baghdad, and he quickly became a recognized junior in the academy and was given the opportunity to train with the national Iraqi team. The coaching was helpful in taking him to the next level and further develop his knowledge of the game. Mo went on to play the ATP Satellite tour and the ITF circuit which prepared him for one of the greatest honors in his career – the opportunity to represent his country by playing on the Iraq Davis Cup team from 2005-2007.

After finishing his active playing days, Mo realized that his passion for the sport allowed him to invest his heart and soul into teaching tennis. Before joining the Tennis Innovators Academy team, Mo taught for 5 years at the prestigious Saddlebrook Academy in Tampa, Florida.
