Gilberto “TITO” Machado

ACADEMY PROFESSIONAL/SUMMER CAMP DIRECTOR

Tito was born in the Canary Islands, Spain. He started playing at the age of four and by eight he began competition in Spain’s junior circuit. As a junior, he played national level events in Spain which soon lead to ITF tournaments.

The following year, Tito transferred to Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania to play NCAA Division 2. He played the top positions of the team and was team captain his junior and senior year. Tito graduated with a degree in Anthropology and Political Science.
