ERIK KAZARYAN
TOURNAMENT TRAVEL PROGRAM COORDINATOR & MASTER TENNIS PROFESSIONAL

Erik was born and raised in Alicante, Spain. Erik loved all sports, but at the age of 7, he was introduced to the game of tennis.

Erik began training at the prestigious Juan Carlos Ferrero Equelite Tennis Academy. He trained there for 10 years and reached national notoriety in the National Junior Circuit of Spain, one of the toughest circuits in the world. Through Erik’s strong work ethic, training intensity, national recognition, and playing ITF events he was soon recognized by his peers and was invited to help train active professionals at local academies. At the young age of 19, Erik realized his passion for coaching players both physically and mentally.

With Erik’s success as a private traveling coach and sparring partner for professional players, he was soon offered a full-time coaching position at the Montemar Atletico Tennis Club. While there, he was able to gain world-class experience by assisting in the training of players such as Ivan Navarro (#60 ATP), Guillermo Garcia Lopez (#20 ATP); and promising young players like Alexei Popyrin (#74 ATP) and Nicola Kuhn (#174 ATP), who are now active ATP players. This experience of training and traveling with these players around the world as they competed, in ATP Challengers, Futures, and ITF tournaments, catapulted him towards a coaching career.

Erik joined TIA in 2019 and quickly became one of our most popular coaches. His talent, enthusiastic spirit, and love for the game are truly reflected in the students he teaches!
