Elias was born and raised in La Rioja, Argentina. He was introduced to tennis at the age of 8 and quickly found his love and passion for the sport. After years of training and hard work, Elias began to excel and found success in the junior circuit at age 15 and started playing national competitions, ITF events and COSAT tournaments, reaching a ranking of #30 in Argentina (Juniors Under 16).

In 2012, Elias came to Florida to play in the American Cup and Orange Bowl (both international junior tournaments). Elias impressed the coaches at William Woods University while playing tournaments in Florida and received a full athletic scholarship offer to play NAIA tennis. During his year at The Woods, Elias helped the Owls to a program high of NAIA #5 ranking. Elias was a three-time Conference Champion (AMC Conference) and NAIA Scholar Athlete during years 2016, 2017 and 2018. In May 2018, Elias graduated from William Woods University with a double major in Finance and Accounting.

In August 2018, Elias was named Graduate Assistant Tennis Coach at Heidelberg University where he helped coach the men’s and women’s programs. And by the Spring of 2019, Elias assisted in the total win increase for the Heidelberg tennis program by 25%. He also assisted in mentoring three athletes to Academic All-OAC selection. In may 2020, Elias graduated with an MBA degree.

Elias also has experience working as a tennis pro at a number of summer camps including Carmel Valley Tennis Camp in California, Camp Lindenmere in Pennsylvania, and at the Southampton Racquet Club in New York. His overall experience is a great asset to TIA.
