Adam Coyne was born and raised in Hertfordshire, England. He was introduced to the game of tennis through a local school program that was offered in his town. Adam played tennis and soccer competitively, until the age of 14, at that point he decided to solely focus on tennis and the voyage began. Adam’s junior career was very successful as he reached the #1 ranking in his section and the #17 ranking in his country.
After performing well at the national stage, it was time for a new challenge and Adam began competing in the ITF circuit and was able to gain his first points at the age of 15. Following his exceptional junior career, the recruiting offers came from NCAA Division 1 schools and after much thought Adam accepted a full scholarship to Alabama State University. The highlight of his college playing career was clinching the first conference title in the program’s history and gaining his team a spot in the NCAA national tournament.
During his time in college, Adam spent every summer working as a coach at high performance junior camps, such as Indian Head and Future Stars as well as acquiring an assistant coach position for the Alabama State University mens tennis team. Adam is a well rounded instructor with the right pedigree and experience to help bring our TIA players to the next level!
