He served as captain of the Baylor Men’s Tennis Team, holds the program’s all-time record for doubles victories, and ranks No. 3 in all-time combined singles and doubles wins with 220 career victories. He also captured the 2018 ITA All-American National Championship in doubles.

Internationally, Sven was ranked as high as No. 74 in ITF Juniors, No. 1101 in ATP Singles, and No. 802 in ATP Doubles, and held the No. 1 national junior ranking in Slovenia for both U16 and U18. He represented Slovenia in Junior Davis Cup and Davis Cup ties against Portugal and Monaco, and competed on the ITF Futures and ATP Challenger circuits, earning two Futures titles.

As a coach, Sven brings the same elite mindset to his players that shaped his own journey. He focuses on efficient movement, tactical discipline, and mental preparation. His programming blends technical detail with match-play realism, always tailored to each player’s needs and aspirations.

He has served as a training and hitting partner for WTA World No. 24 Tamara Zidanšek and regularly works with nationally ranked juniors, many of whom are pursuing NCAA and professional careers. With a Master’s in Sport Management and a BBA in Finance from Baylor, Sven combines athletic excellence with a sharp strategic mind—helping players grow into competitors who are prepared for the demands of both tennis and life.

Sven looks forward to making a strong, positive impact on TIA’s High Performance Academy.
